Yoga and Meditation - What a Great Combination

We put off going to the doctor, we don't do what we are suppose to do to remain healthy. We experience flare ups of arthritis, indigestion, memory loss, inability to concentrate. These problems can all be treated with yoga and meditation.

Doing yoga then should lead to meditation and the use of both to better your life. Promoting unity of the mind, body and spirit. The emotional balance that is achieved through detachment, you are free of the happenings around you. This creates calmness and positive outlook and this helps to improve the health of our physical bodies.

yoga For People Who Don't Do Yoga!

...and the ability to walk into the adjacent national park. I was relieved to see that, even if I did not like the yoga, I could relax and unwind in this delightful environment. The other wonderful thing was my fellow participants my fears about being surrounded by young fitness freaks were unfounded. Everyone was warm, friendly and perfectly normal so I breathed a huge sigh of relief.

The next day our first yoga session was scheduled for 8am before breakfast it is better to do yoga on an empty stomach! Out teacher, jennifer was delightful and quickly put us at our ease. Yoga is not a competitive sport, never mind what anyone else is doing or how far they are bending, just pay attention to your own body and only bend, stretch or twist as far as is comfortable.

We cannot take it out on the world because we had one difficult person upset us. On the other hand, just like everyone else, yoga instructors are human too. We all make mistakes, and one moment is not an indication of our imprint on this lifetime. Yet, people will easily remember our worst behavior.
